What place or places did you photograph?

Medina Souk Riad Abracadabra Medina Casa Abracadabra Café Dar El Bacha We photographed in some of Marrakech’s most iconic and enchanting places. The souk, with its labyrinthine and vibrant alleys, was one of our favorite backdrops, as were the exotic gardens of Casa Abracadabra, about 45 minutes from the center of Marrakech, Café Dar El Bacha, and the quiet courtyards of traditional Riads like Riad Abracadabra. Every corner had a unique palette that seemed custom-made for the Lenny Niemeyer Collection.

How was spending the day producing this editorial for Lenny Niemeyer?

Spending the day producing this editorial was not easy, but it was, sincerely, a privilege. Lenny Niemeyer is one of our favorite summer brands; we don’t go a season without it, and as always, it brought a tropical sophistication that harmonized with Marrakech’s magical setting. The fluidity of the fabrics, the elegant cuts, and the striking prints perfectly dialogued with the city’s colors and textures. It was, therefore, an incredible, fun, and ultimately very inspiring experience.

How did you feel walking around Marrakech in these looks?

Walking around Marrakech in these looks was almost cinematic. The people we passed by looked with curiosity and immense admiration, as if Lenny’s pieces were part of the landscape, but at the same time transformed it. There was something powerful about wearing such a Brazilian and sophisticated collection in that Moroccan universe full of history and mysticism.

Marrakech has its own rhythm. How did this environment influence your perspective during the trip? Marrakech truly has its own rhythm, to which we had to adapt. A time that seems dilated, where everything happens at its own pace. This made us slow down, observe more, absorb every detail. And this rhythm directly affected our gaze: we photographed with more intention, more calm, almost as if we were dancing with the city.

If you could summarize your day in Marrakech in one word, what would it be? And why?

Débora: If I had to summarize this day in Marrakech in one word, it would be “intensity.” Because, despite the overwhelming beauty, it was also a challenge: photographing amidst thousands of people, sounds, movements, and constant stimuli required presence, focus, and adaptation. But it was precisely this intensity that made it all even more worthwhile.
